When we met and realized we were both working in the roofing business, it came as a real surprise.

Jeff started young and got into the business through a summer job selling door-to-door in college. He decided to make it a career and spent 15 years learning every aspect of the business, working for other companies.

Roofing wasn’t my first real job, but before I knew it, I was running operations for a roofing company, and 10 years had gone by before I realized it.

The business always came up because it was a shared interest, but the conversations weren’t what you would think. There were a lot of sentences exchanged that began with Can you believe this?

While we were both learning the ins and outs of the roofing business, we also learned what we don’t like about it. And there was plenty not to like.

Soon, the conversation changed. We started talking about starting our own roofing company. What would it be like if we had a business that skipped all the things we didn’t like?

That meant no salespeople, clear communication, working without compromise, and not disappearing the second we got paid.

This idea started to look good. Really good.

After saving pennies for what seemed like forever, we opened 6 years ago, and we’ve been growing ever since. We stuck to our plan to drop all the bad habits we saw at other companies, and customers really like that.

When you look for a roofing and siding contractor, we realize there are a lot of choices, but if you ask us, there’s really only one right choice.
